Phase 1: Generating Offline e-KYC XML for Registration

Before registering on the exam portal, candidates must obtain their verified offline identity file:

  1. Visit the official resident portal at myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
  2. Log in using your registered mobile number and OTP authentication.
  3. Select Offline e-KYC from the dashboard.
  4. Set a custom 4-digit Share Code (e.g., 1234) and click Download.
  5. Save the downloaded .zip XML file on your device (do not extract or rename it).

Phase 2: NSEIT Exam Registration & Slot Booking

  1. Account Creation:
    • Go to the official NSEIT UIDAI portal (uidai.nseitexams.com).
    • Click Create New User and upload the downloaded Paperless XML file.
    • Enter the 4-digit Share Code and click Submit.
    • Enter your mobile number, verify it via OTP, and note down your generated User ID and Password.
  2. Completing Application Details:
    • Log in with your new credentials and fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred test language.
    • Select your agency affiliation (or select general candidate if applying independently).
  3. Fee Payment:
    • Pay the examination fee (₹470.82) using the online payment gateway (Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking).
  4. Scheduling the Exam Slot:
    • Click on Book Seat / Schedule Exam.
    • Select your state, preferred exam city, testing center, available date, and time slot.
    • Confirm the booking and immediately download the Admit Card / Hall Ticket.
  5. Appearing for the CBT Exam:
    • Report to the allocated NSEIT center 30 minutes prior to the exam time.
    • Bring a physical identity card, admit card, and a fresh printout of your physical identity record.
    • Scoring 77+ marks (70%+) awards the Supervisor Certificate, while scoring 61 to 76 marks (55%–69%) awards the Operator Certificate.

Once the certificate is downloaded from the NSEIT dashboard, candidates can apply to active recruitment drives:
